The PE pipe production line consists of seven major components: the control system, extruder, die head, sizing and cooling system, haul-off unit, planetary cutting device, and pipe stacking rack.

Dual-Extruder Configuration

Each pipe production line is generally equipped with two extruders: the main extruder adopts a forced-feed barrel liner and a high-efficiency screw to handle the extrusion of the pipe body, while a smaller extruder is used to extrude the marking lines; composite pipe lines are equipped with multiple extruders working in coordination.

Production Process Flow

1. Raw material + masterbatch → 2. Mixing → 3. Vacuum feeding → 4. Material drying → 5. Single-screw extrusion → 6. Four-color stripe extrusion → 7. Basket or spiral die forming → 8. Core Technical Highlights

1. Spiral die head: Specially designed for large-diameter, thick-wall HDPE and PP pipes, offering low melt temperature, excellent mixing performance, low die cavity pressure, and stable production — delivering clear operational advantages.
2. PLC-based programmed control: The entire line is controlled by PLC with a user-friendly HMI; all process parameters can be set and displayed via touchscreen. A dedicated marking-line extruder is available, enabling production of color-striped pipes that meet national standards.
3. Vacuum sizing tank: Features specially designed multi-stage vacuum control, ensuring dimensional stability and roundness of HDPE and PP pipes.
4. High-precision drive control: Both the extruder and the haul-off unit are driven and controlled by imported premium-brand variable-speed drives, offering excellent stability, precision, and reliability.
5. Dedicated sizing and cooling system: Adopts water film lubrication and water ring cooling, fully adapted to HDPE and PP material characteristics, ensuring stable outer diameter and roundness during high-speed production of thick-wall pipes.
